Have a next action button available that is connected to the Active Project
When working on Actions have a Next Action button available. When you click on the button the current action gets checked off and disappears, and a new blank action opens that is tied to the Parent Project. Sometimes you don't have time to figure out each step of a project, or you don't want the next step is until you complete the last one. This allows you to work through a project more quickly with a smooth workflow.

stop capturing the Ctrl+TAB key combination
AFAIK it is not used by GDTNext, but it is the universal Tab switching shortcut for browsers on most personal computers. Clobbering it is really inconvenient.

Flexible tag filtering
I would like to define custom filter to filter in relevant actions. The custom filter could allow simple logic operators such as AND, OR, NOT, and round brackets. This can be a premium feature. It would let me define my own tagging hierarchy which may well support may usage such as tagging energy levels, tagging areas of focus, tagging priority, tagging goal/objectives, etc.

"Move To:" with auto-complete
I'd love a quicker way to move tasks (and trees of tasks+subtasks) from anywhere to the correct project.
Ideally this would include two workflows:
1. without needing to leave the keyboard with hotkey + input field already focused
2. without needing to think, i.e. right-click, menu item "Move To" leading to focused input field. The input field would include a dropdown list populated with partial match on project names allowing you to find the right project with minimum input text.
Ideally the match would be through the whole project name so exact match / starting chars match wouldn't be so…

Number of items in Lists on left navigation sidebar
In the left navigation sidebar the number of items in "Actions" is always visible through a marker. It would be helpful if "Inbox", "Scheduled", "Waiting" and "Someday" would also show the number of todos in it.

"New User" window has to go away
As long as I had less than 100 entries, I was unable to use GDTNext on my iPad. The window with the "first steps" could not be removed nor was I able to create a project in the third step, as required, because I could not enter TAB on the iPad.
I strongly suggest making this window clickable.

Make left-hand panel items visible for those with smaller screens / larger font sizes.
When I have my web browser (on laptop) on 100% zoom settings, there isn't a way for me to scroll to the bottom of the left panel to view the lower items. I recommend either adjusting it so the scroll functionality accounts for whether the left-panel items are running off the page (as I'm sure it would allow me to scroll if I had a list of tasks that runs off the screen), or to create a separate scrolling functionality for the left-hand panel itself. Y'all are doing an awesome job and I love where this is going!

Show number of items in each category under 'Lists' in left pane
In the left pane, we have a number next to 'Next Actions', 'Today' and 'Focus', showing how many items are in that category. Is it possible to have this done for the categories under 'Lists'? eg 'Inbox' (to be able to see at a quick glance that we have items to process), 'Scheduled', 'Waiting', 'Someday'. Thanks.

Create a Tomorrow List to combine "Do it tomorrow" with GTD
The two time management methodologies that I have found make sense to me are GTD and Mark Forster's Do it Tomorrow. I have been using GTDNext since IQtell went belly up and I find it invaluable but I have been trying to incorporate the DIT methodology with tricks (tags, etc) without much success.
I assume it would not be very difficult to create a Tomorrow list, similar to the Today list. At midnight, generate any scheduled task on that list the day before the task is due. Before that, move the previous Tomorrow tasks to the Today list.

Add the ability to enter a time of day a task is due as well as duration.
This will make it great when you build a calendar integration so I can better plan out my day. This will also make it better for notifications to arrive on a timely manner when a android app becomes available.

I think this functionality can let user to record relevant info of handling the tasks by date, time log so that it can provide useful info when user need to look back what's has been done for specific projects or actions.

improve the printing options
I like to print hard copies to work with lists.
powerful list printing features would be great especially;
1. weekly calendar
2. tasks list
3. email the listand ability to tick off the list
manual list printing is a greater priority for me over phone usage of apps as i prefer to just have a 1 page list and not rely on phone or distractions or mucking around on the phone23 votes -
