It was statement of the developers of other app. They realised that a better way is to create one universal app for iPhone, Android phones, iPad and other tablets. It seems to be a great idea, but they will realised it in several months and we will see then...

Bad mobile strategySince the beginning we decided to offer native Android and iPhone apps. The reason is that, when we made the decision, that was the alternative to offer the best user experience.
Unfortunately, offering native apps means we need to maintain 3 completely separated products. Creating a new feature implies designing it for 3 different systems, coding it 3 times and having 3 different sources of bugs and support requests. This has slowed us beyond what we consider acceptable.
We are a very small company. Our app has been profitable since we launched our premium subscriptions. But we have little interest in growing in size. So we are changing this.

September 2018:
This month we completed a new feature that is key to creating a mobile app.
The ability to use GTDNext without an internet connection.
For now we are focusing on making the mobile web experience top notch, but adding offline is a key for eventually doing mobile.
If you have not seen our mobile web experience it is getting quote good. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/Ew8F6lCrcZs It’s not as good as having a native app. But it’s usable for quickly checking on errands and adding items while on the go.
