improve the printing options
I like to print hard copies to work with lists.
powerful list printing features would be great especially;
1. weekly calendar
2. tasks list
3. email the listand ability to tick off the list
manual list printing is a greater priority for me over phone usage of apps as i prefer to just have a 1 page list and not rely on phone or distractions or mucking around on the phone23 votes -
Add buttons to indent/outdent (demote/promote) an entry in the action details panel
In the absence of an Android app (I see one will be developed), I have been using GTDnext via the Chrome browser on my Android tablet. The biggest challenge to this is the absence of a "tab" key on most Android keyboards. I have found a keyboard that features a "tab" key so I can indent an entry, however, I cannot find a way to enter the "shift" + "tab" command necessary to outdent an entry.
I think two added buttons on the action detail panel could alleviate this problem and seem to be a logical place to locate them.…

Fully featured keyboard shortcuts
A full set of keyboard shortcuts to use the web app quickly. The goal would be that using the keyboard alone, someone can work very quickly and have no need for the mouse.
Details:
1) Text manipulation (moving, copy, deleting, batch selecting, etc)
2) Field entry (adding tags, setting status, operations work with batch selection, etc)
3) Navigation (switch to Inbox view, Action view, Waiting view, etc)21 votesToday we added more keyboard shortcuts. Check out the blog article which shows them.

Allow importation
I'd like to use GTDNext, but I already have GTD up and running in another webapp (workflowy, in my case). The thought of retyping all of my items into GTDNext is keeping me from making the transition.
Allowing us to import plain text or csv lists to create a whole batch of items would be really helpful. I imagine that I'm not alone in wanting to transition from some other program. I'd guess too that most programs have some kind of plain text or csv output that could be used in this.

add team collaboration option
to use GTDnext as a team tool would be fantastic, think you could pick up a lot of business users, assigning tasks and projects which are then automatically moved to the waiting for list would be the ultimate but could live with manually doing this if I had to too

Add email body as note and add mailed attachments in the task
When sending an email to the GTD Next app the mail body should become the task note and any attachments should be added to the task.
17 votesToday, we introduced formatted text in emails forwarded to GTDNext. So all emails sent to GTDNext will retain the formatting that you see in your email client.
Automatically uploading attachments from emails is still coming some day.

Context One Click Feature
I propose that a feature be added to handle contexts that would solve some of the problems that currently exist with using "tags" feature for the purposes of applying GTD context to items.
I propose a feature that:
1. combines the one click assignment of the "focus" function with
2. the button functionality of the area filters, including the all important no area button.
3. If desired, icons for home or phone or computer could be selected for each context, instead of a red button for focus. Why do this? There are so many problems with the current system of…

Make tags clickable buttons in the task edit pane
When editing a task I'd like to have my tags as clickable buttons in the tag edit area, instead of having to type in my tags. Typing in the tags distrupts the flow when working with many tasks at the same time (I often need to tag several tasks at the same time). If a user has too many tags to display in the pane then perhaps display the most used tags? Typing a tag should of course still be an option.
This would go hand in hand with the task input syntax: http://gtdnext.uservoice.com/forums/246700-general/suggestions/6477132-allow-tagging-etc-in-when-typing-in-the-new-item

Full backup
We need a full offline backup for our data in some structurized form. Json, XML, etc.
But I'm thinking about everything (descriptions, links, attachments, statuses, types, etc...) not just simple text tree, like we have now.

Tie GTD to a calendar system so you can see your day and week and month
Google Calendar and GQs work together. GTD is superior to GQs but GTD needs a calendar system so that we can see a day, a week a month, etc at a time. We should be able to input items either when we are looking at the calendar or in GTD and have items show up in both places.

Track estimated and actual time
When I do my daily review a really useful piece of data to have would be the estimated duration for actions. It would remove just a bit of friction from thinking about how long each action may take when I'm figuring out how much I can get done. Also, being able to loop back and enter the actual amount of time would be helpful for helping identify issues with my estimations in general as well as for reviewing if/when similar tasks arise in the future.

Enter dates a la ToDoIst
Make entering dates easier -- a la ToDoist
I can make scheduling to ToDoist super easy: "Task name", tab (which brings my to date), "today" or "tomorrow" or "Monday" or "next week". I never have to touch my mouse or use slashes or hyphens. It's so easy to get items into ToDoist. I like GTDnext for other features, but dates can be improved11 votes
