Templates & Copy Projects
Where I have a number of projects which are identical but for different clients it would be useful to be able to create a template which I can then copy or at least be able to copy an existing project and re-name it.
For each project there are 20(ish) standard steps and its quite time consuming to enter these individually for the number of projects I have on the go.
I imagine this would be relatively straightforward to implement?

Clickable links in the notes section
Scenario. You get an actionable email in gmail. Enter the task, and COPY AND PASTE the link to the email into the notes section.
Then when you are ready to do the task - click the link and there you have the email ready to respond too.
Also the link could be used for things like:
Buy this on amazon (link)
Book this hotel (link)This should be pretty easy to do. Just allow url links in the notes!
80 votesToday, July 14th, 2015, in Build 6.23 we added the ability to have links and other HTML formatting in the notes section of GTDNext.
In addition to html links you can now increase font sizes, add bullets and numbered lists and do standard bold, italics and underline formatting. Enjoy!

ability to work "off line"
Strange as it may seem, I go offline. There are places where there is no wifi connection or it is intermittent. I go to these places (ok, sometimes I'm traveling through them). My best processing is done off line and it enables a 50,000 ft review. I vote for off-line. I don't know if this requires a desktop application (don't think so). Maybe just a sync once returned to on-line.

Multiple Email integration right through the App
Having email come through GTDNext and then either create an action, etc. or delete, etc. to maintain zero inbox without having to email GTDNext and open email program
35 votesToday we announced a new feature that allows you to create an unique email address for your GTDNext inbox. Any emails sent to that alias, from any email account will land in your GTDNext inbox.
Here is a blog post that gives more information: http://blog.gtdnext.com/9-ways-to-use-the-send-tasks-from-multiple-email-accounts-feature/

With the launch of 6.18 a few days ago, you can now add links to any URL to the details area of your tasks or projects.
This works great with Evernote, Onenote, etc.
Someday we may look at deeper Evernote integration, but this works really well. Give it a try!

keyboard shortcut to move items around a list
In most programming text-editors, there is an option to move a line (an item in GTDNext) up or down using a key combination.
For example in Notepad++, CTRL + SHIFT + UP will grab the line and shift it up over the line above. This is a fast way to re-order items.
Perhaps CTRL + SHIFT + UP / DOWN could be used to accomplish a similar idea in GTDNext.
Using a trackpad, or mouse requires great co-ordination to move an item correctly, and when arranging 20 to 30 items, it is difficult to maintain precise control.
This would make…

Have some way of exporting/printing the Big Picture (i.e. all my tasks in all my projects)
When one is "on the road" and/or off-line (e.g. working on a train) it is deeply frustrating not to be able to do reflective thinking about one's priorities and projects. Partly an interim measure, I suggest we get to export a heirachical list of of all project and all tasks within them out to a .CSV file or even direct to a printer.
14 votesYou can currently export the current project you are on (using the export button in the panel) and you can also export the entire outline. Just click the setting “cog” at the top right and choose export. The copy and paste the outline into your favorite offline app.
I know of some users who do this fairly often into Evernote, so they have an offline version for reference and backup.

Increase the default size of page elements (font size, etc)
There's a lot to like with GTDNext, but I find that I don't care for how small everything is at 100%. If I zoom the page to 125%, I think this gives it a much more appealing interface. It would be nice to have the default be a larger size so users wouldn't have to though.
When I look at other sites, such as Todoist, Wunderlist, and Nachapp, their pages at 100% look very similar to what GTDNext is at 110% - 125%. It seems like a minor request but I think it makes it feel more user friendly and…

Make drag and drop to change sort order much easier - with hotkeys
Drag and drop to change sort order of Projects & Actions is currently extremely hard. You need to hit the icon at the right of each row and then get the mouse to exactly the correct place, which is time consuming and fiddly. Awful.
I suggest the use of hot keys to whiz projects up and down the sort orders. (e.g. Control/up and control/down arrows ??)
(Possibly combine with making more than one row selectable at the same time??)4 votesThis was actually completed some time ago. Drag and drop is very easy now, as you can click anywhere on the line that does not have text. Or you can click and drag the icon as well

Increase Notes Box Size Automatically with Window Space
Notes space is a determining factor for me and a GTD Tool. In my first 30 seconds of seeing GTDNext (9/5/14), 2 things stood out.
1) Why is there a large border of wasted space between the task/project list and the Action Details area on the right? (large white void)
2) Notes Box: Hey, it's there and it can be enlarged, but this dragging of the bottom right corner does not "stick". It doesn't stick as a setting for all, nor even for the one I enlarged after clicking away and back.Hey, how about the notes box simpl always…
3 votesin 5.13 we now allow notes to be viewed/edited in the main window. Giving you a lot of space. Just press SHIFT+ENTER while in the projects and actions view to open up the notes area.

Data export
I would like to be able to export all of my data in an easy-to-parse format (csv, json, etc.) This is non-optional IMO if GTDNext wants to become anyone's "single trusted system".
3 votesClosing this as completed, as this already exists today.
Just click the “cog” icon in the top right. Click “Export All” and then copy the resulting outline you see. Paste wherever you like.
You have the option to include completed tasks or not.
If we get enough demand (please open another suggestion with specifics) we may include other export options like CSV, or including notes, but if the concern is “All my data is stuck in GTDNext” this feature should alleviate that concern. Thanks!

Add the ability to assign Start Dates
I have read that it can be helpful to specifically assign when a new action or project should be started upon. Thus, some task management systems allow for the assigning of start dates. Perhaps by adding a Start Date field after the Due Date field this will allow those who wish to use such a feature the ability to plan out ahead of time when to make certain actions/projects active. Perhaps actions/projects with a future start date would automatically be given the status of Waiting and would move into the Active status on the start date. By making this an…

Scheduled Repeat option for weekdays only.
I use habit building repeat tasks that i only want repeated every weekday. It would be good to get that little bit of extra functionality.
2 votesThis actually is already part of GTDNext. Choose repeat of “weekly” then click only the week days. This should then give you the action repeated each week day.
