Add the ability to assign Start Dates
I have read that it can be helpful to specifically assign when a new action or project should be started upon. Thus, some task management systems allow for the assigning of start dates. Perhaps by adding a Start Date field after the Due Date field this will allow those who wish to use such a feature the ability to plan out ahead of time when to make certain actions/projects active. Perhaps actions/projects with a future start date would automatically be given the status of Waiting and would move into the Active status on the start date. By making this an option, items/projects assigned a future start date could be confidently ignored. Start Dates might add another layer of control over the volume of next projects/actions that necessarily needs to be assessed or focused upon on any given day. And like upcoming Due Dates, perhaps projects/actions with upcoming start dates could give a visual indication of their upcoming change in status.

Well, I apparently missed the Start Date feature already built into GTDNext. My apologies.
