Thanks for the suggestion. In some ways the Next Action list is really what you want. It contains all of the next actions available for you to do right now. It’s where I go first thing when I want to start doing actual work.

Since this list contains all actions available for you to do right now, I’m not sure I completely understand the need for a list with all action on it. This is what the Projects and Actions view is for.

To make it easier to view just active actions, we did add an “active” filter to the P&A view. So this will filter out any scheduled, waiting or someday actions from the view. If the next action view isn’t exactly what you are looking for hopefully this will help.

What (the heck) does does clicking the A "Filter Active Items" actually do? Doesn't it show just the Active projects?

Wait, I think clicking 'Filter Active Items' will only remove a project if *ALL* the Actions within it are Scheduled. This is bonkers because this means even though I want to schedule the entire project I cant unless I go through every single Action so as to Schedule it.

Nightmare. I'd call this a *BUG* ! No wonder I failed to understand how the entire Scheduling thing works!!

    September 2018:

This month we completed a new feature that is key to creating a mobile app.

The ability to use GTDNext without an internet connection.

For now we are focusing on making the mobile web experience top notch, but adding offline is a key for eventually doing mobile.

If you have not seen our mobile web experience it is getting quote good. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/Ew8F6lCrcZs It’s not as good as having a native app. But it’s usable for quickly checking on errands and adding items while on the go.

Like others have said, GTDNext is brilliant data capture on the road is mission-critical and no Android app (that allows working off-line) is a deal breaker for me.

In the meantime, the web interface looks pretty rough on my android browsers - with text too small to read and pinch zooming breaking the page...
